Franchises - Emotional Fulfillment - The Challenge
Does A Franchise Meet Your Needs?Do you look forward to Friday afternoon or Monday morning? Perhaps that’s the true litmus test of happiness. My Most Embarrassing Auction - What A Difference A Dot Makes!
As a newbee to eBay I sold a LOT of things. I looked around our farm and I found a TON of stuff that I was interested in getting rid of. Old metals, seeds, wood, cattle, dogs, wife...(well, truth is she got rid of me first, but that's another story..)But you know, after awhile I got tired of the hassle of packaging and posting everything. Then one day I was looking at a piece of metal called brass shim stock and a bell went off i
One of the most important management tools a franchised company needs is a great computer system. The system must integrate with all the franchised outlets and also be able to interface with the Corporate HQ computer system. There are many companies which have already set up specialty IT systems for franchisors, but much of an off the shelf system will need modification. Be sure when talking with software vendors that you make sure that you get what you want and do not simply fall for the sales approach of them telling you what you need? After all, how on earth would they know that? Designing and/or securing a computer system will require some pre planning thought on your part.

Below is pre-planning exercise I went thru in an outline form to help you determine your own needs. Each company is different and you need to determine what you want, what you may want in the future and make your system scalable and able to handle feature creep as it grows. You should probably print this outline and modify it to fit your needs and then take a large sketch pad and draw out the your future system. This will assist you when taking to software consultants. Be careful not to take much advice from software consultants on what you will need, but listen very closely to their confidence and ability to make what you envision possible. Think on this, it is one of the most important decisions a new franchisor founder must make.

To Start A Virtual Assistant Business Or Not
It sounds great, work from home and spend more time with the family and still earn an income. It is great, but it’s hard hard work.Remember virtual assistants need to actually work to earn their money, so there’s no lounging around watching TV or saying to yourself I’ll just do the housework and then get on with some work later. Or I’ll play with the kids or go out shopping, just because I work from home. You can certainly do

    Profit From Product Re-Design
You don’t have to be a design guru or professional industrial designer to come up with creative solutions to improve the things around us. After all, most of the best things were designed by amateurs, out of sheer need. There are lots of things out there that we use every day and, surprisingly, most of them can be improved to work better, be more useful or just look better and could make you money. Let’s take an example: the pouri
