Successful Entrepreneur Tools - Characteristics of Successful Entrepreneurs
Successful entrepreneurs are the life blood of business in the United States and around the world. Every corporation, organization and banking system started with one person with an idea that blossomed into a thriving business. The entrepreneur spirit that drives a person to build a successful business from nothing is more than just intriguing. When we look at what characteristics or traits common among those that do succeed, we are able to design our own success. We are not passive. We are dynamic and powerful. The characteristics we display today are not who we will be tomorrow. We learn and shift and become more each day. We determine our destiny but we don’t achieve success in a vacuum. We look to those that have realized their dreams despite opp

Yeah…yeah…yeah… you’re sitting pretty in your mansion, you have your so-so business that never changed the world, and your drive to innovate and create has been extinguished along with you passion for entrepreneurism.

My friend, you never thought big and as a result you never truly reached your goals in life – not even close. So what, you have some nice materialistic things that you think defines true success, but they really don’t.

As entrepreneurs, we can’t think of our efforts to become successful as means to simply make some cash and sit comfortably in our nice homes, we have to think above and beyond that. I mean, isn’t that the whole point of being an entrepreneur: changing the world and solving problems? I think so, at least.

I have no doubt that there will always be that majority of entrepreneurs that are doing things that they aren’t really passionate about to turn a quick buck and po

Choosing Medical Transcription as a Career
Medical transcription is one of those careers where you either hate it or love it. I have been a medical transcriptionist for a long time and still love what I do. I enjoy the continuous learning, take pride in my work and think it’s absolutely fantastic. But, what will it be like for you?If you’re thinking about a career in medical transcription here are a few things to consider:Do you enjoy working on your own?Whether you work outside the home or from home, this is one career where you will have to be self disciplined. You are left to produce your own work and will not have someone looking over your shoulder.Do you have a good grasp of the English language? You will need to have a good understanding of English and grammar. Listen to me very closely young entrepreneur; I will only say this once: choose the red pill and you wakeup in the morning inside your nice mansion with a so-so business that you’re proud of, but you know it could’ve been better but you don’t really care about changing the world like you once did… OR take the blue pill and wakeup in the morning with a head full of magnificent ideas that can lead to the changing of the world by producing something never before seen…wakeup with the energy, passion, and ambition to make something unfathomable, something mind-blowing.

Which pill would you take? The pill that leads to instant wealth with a so-so/decent business or the pill that can potentially unlock new doors for mankind through innovative, original, and unique ideas/concepts?

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m thinking BIG so I’d have to go with the blue pill. For many, the red pill would be their drug of choice, but what’s the fun in living a life of mediocrity, especially knowing that you could’ve done so, so, much more but instead you settled for less?

But this isn’t the matrix and there are no magical red and blue pills that entrepreneurs can take to change the outcomes of their lives. In reality, the pills many not exists but the same choices exist nonetheless.

I’ve touched upon the concept of finding the reason "WHY" (visit www.cashcampus.com/ftt for related article) you are an entrepreneur in a previous post, but let’s now take a look into why some entrepreneurs plan for magnificence and some plan for mediocrity.

    Gulp…down goes the blue pill

As entrepreneurs, many of us are scared to think big. We are scared to close our eyes and think about the possibility of someday being bigger than Bill Gates; we are scared to think about one day being more influential than Oprah Winfrey; we are scared to think that our companies can change the way people think.

In order to achieve massive success and create world-changing ideas, you have to really believe that you can. Now that may sound simple, but it really isn’t. To be honest, it took me a long time to actually convince myself that I could potentially amass more wealth and create a bigger company than Bill Gates one day. I mean why not, we both have minds, right? It took a long time for me to think that I can create something that helps mankind and changes the way people live on Earth.

Now, I am not saying that I actually will achieve more wealth than Gates and become more influential that Oprah one day, but that doesn’t really matter because that’s where my bar has been set: the highest! Higher than the highest!

My grandma always told me to “set your hat where you can reach it.” Well no disrespect grandma, but I can’t subscribe to that mediocre way of thinking. I will not set my hat where I can reach it, I’m going to throw that hat into the sky as high as I can, because my success can’t be measured by what I think that I can accomplish. That just won’t work because I’m not thinking with limits…the sky is the limit.

We have to be able to remove all of the limiting factors that haunt our minds. All of the thoughts of becoming “comfortable” and “playing it safe” with our businesses. Conformability won’t change the world, my friends. It’s going to be a long, hard, and painful (and of course, fun) experience in our quests to create something really great.

If you don’t want to endure the pain to create something big enough to change the world, then take a step back, go get a manicure, and a nice massage. You won’t experience any pain and struggles, no worries for you. But on that same note, you’ll never make anything big happen in your life.

No Logo? Launching A Business Without a Logo Can Sabotage You
Initial lack of customers and cash flow often causes a small business to put off designing a logo and marketing materials professionally “until [they] got a few clients” or “until [they] get started.” Designing their own marketing materials when they launch their business, instead of having them professionally created, will make getting those initial clients more difficult, and may result in a business that will not succeed. Many entrepreneurs choose to design their own marketing materials when they launch their business, especially by creating their first business card. Or, they will have an amateur designer, friend or relative create the design. There are several reasons why this is not the best idea. An amateur logo design and business card can make your busin

    Job Satisfaction: I Can't Quit; I'm A Star
Whenever I hear the words “job satisfaction,” I think of the Country-Western singer/songwriter Roger Miller and his song Kansas City Star.As with all good Country-Western tunes there is a simple tune and a simple story involved with the song. The song starts off telling about a letter being received, which contains a job offer. There’s more money, expense account, and a car . . . and what’s more the singer even admits that the offer is for a better job. He turns it down. Now, think of your employees. If they were offered “better” jobs, how many would stay and work for you? What elements make up job satisfaction for that better job?According to a 2004 survey for The Conference Board by TNS, a leading market information company (LSE: TNN): that our companies can change the way people think.

In order to achieve massive success and create world-changing ideas, you have to really believe that you can. Now that may sound simple, but it really isn’t. Companies Need To Rest To Recharge
One of the most effective ways to improve mental and physical health is rest. People also produce their best results when they are relaxed and comfortable at their workplace. The first concept of rest in the corporate context is stability. Therein, lies an apparent paradox. To cope with the rapid changes, the company needs to change. Yet, in the quest for growth-inducing changes, the company needs to have rest and stability. It is the same with the human body. A company needs some amount of organizational slack or thinking time. Many companies focus on changes after changes except they forgot that the things that they are currently doing are just as important. As a result these companies went through fruitless diversifications and divestments. Finally t

    Logo Visability
Designing a logo can be an exciting process, and with an infinite array of logo design possibilities, it’s easy to forget to think about how your logo will look when you’re actually using it. No matter the nature of your business, you want to make sure your logo will look great no matter where you decide to use it.It is important to remember that complex logos, although they may look great on a large sign or on the company website, may not look so hot when shrunk down to fit on business cards and company pens. Logos will need to be adjusted when they are applied to stationary, t-shirts, business cards and websites. Aside from having access to the different file forms of your logo (jpg, eps, Tif.), keep the logo simple, avoid using too many colors and t

I have no doubt that there will always be that majority of entrepreneurs that are doing things that they aren’t really passionate about to turn a quick buck and possibly make some serious cashflow one day, all knowing that they aren’t in the game to change the world, but to increase their wallet size.

I have always told people to :

    * 1.) find something that you love

    * 2.) change the world with that something

    * 3.) try and hard as you can to make a lot of money doing that

Notice how the money part came last. It’s imperative that you’re doing something that you have a lot of passion for, because in doing so you can and will change the world. Do that, and the money will come don’t worry.

    Never settle

Never settle for less, just keep on wanting more. That may sound like greed, but it isn’t. Greed for change is good – it’s necessary. You can change this world but it all starts with a thought; a thought that enables you believe that you can; without it, you can’t. Life is too short to think small. Think big and get big results.

It’s scary thinking that big, I know. But let’s do it together. After enough time passes and big things start to happen with your business, you’ll soon see the power of how you think directly reflecting the outcome of your business.

And you’ll see that you made the right choice by taking the blue pill. The pill that set you free from mediocrity and living I life filled with what-ifs and how-comes. And if your eyes hurt after taking the blue pill don’t worry, that’s just because you’ve been blind in seeing your true potential and what you can really amount to in life. You can see now, so make it happen.
