    Corporate Cancer: An Epidemic of Dishonest Employees
    Hiring and retaining employees in today’s marketplace is a complicated situation; in fact, it’s more of a matter of life and death for most businesses.The liabilities inherited with each job offer include employee theft, huge turnover rates, unqualified employees, negligent hiring practices and discrimination based lawsuits, and violence in the workplace.Each of these challenges has a distinct and overwhelming effect on every business, within every market segment in every country of the world.Quality hiring decisions build profitable and successful companies, bad employees tear them down.All other problems aside, employee theft alone has been described as an epidemic... a corporate cancer… a disease murdering commercial enterprise. It has also been characterized as the fastest growing segment of rhe U.S. economy.The estimates of the damage to the American public vary widely:· The U.S. Department of Commerce has estimated $50 billion dollars annually· The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners claims it costs in excess of $121 billion dollars every year· Florida State University’s 2004 National Retail Security Survey indicates that the percentage of a business’ losses caused by employees is the highest it has been in its eight previous surveys!· Perhaps the most shocking statistic claimed by the U.S. Small Business Administration indicates that between 30% and 40% of all business f

And end up with a kind of question like how to write a successful thriller fiction?The answer is really rely on human psychology and biology, which about how people think and how they behave as well as mechanism on how their brains work.Why thriller stories scare us? I have to say that not all of thriller make us scared, this is just because it is really depend on how the stories were written, if they were written badly, they may not be horrified enough. The word “scare” refers to something that make us feel of fright or fear or may lead to the feeling of death to people. However, the reason why not all thriller stories make us scared is something also depends on the objective of the writer, which he/she might want something else from readers, not just to make people horrified.In fact, it is quite simple to understand that horrified is a fundamental manner of human, which is what exactly about what can disturb or interfere our security and this is the aim of writing of thriller fiction.However, there are some argument existing around, which is about is it only necessary for thriller just to scare people? There are a number of important things to look for in a portable digital projector for meetings on the go. Your specification shopping list should include factors such as:

      1. Light Weight – anything over 6 lb is not really portable;
      2. Small Form Factor – smaller dimension projectors are easier to pack and carry;
      3. Set-up Speed – look for a projector with some quick application select modes which match the type of presentation material and projection scenarios which are likely;
      4. Screen Distance Flexibility – flexibility to cope with varying distances from the screen – short throw and zoom lenses provide flexibility;
      5. Horizontal and Vertical Lens Shift or Keystone Correction – to correct keystoning of the projected image when the projection screen is either not at the same height as the projector and/or horizontally in line / skewed - lens shift is preferred as there is no possibility of introducing artifacts from digital keystone correction;
      6. Good Brightness – look for over 1,800 ANSI lumens to cope with less than perfect projection situations with plenty of ambient light (eg. training rooms), 1,200 ANSI – 1,800 ANSI lumens projectors can handle some ambient light;
      7. High Contrast Ratio – something of the order of 2,000 or over will produce excellent results
      8. Low Noise Level - you don’t want your voice to be competing with projector noise – a noise level in the 20 – 28 dB (whisper quiet) should be achievable;
      9. Rugged Design - to protect the projector from dust and tolerate knocks during transport - look for shutters, caps and lack of protruding controls;
      10. Quick Shut Down (cooling cycle) - so that you can move on without delay if necessary
      11. Simple Remote Control – easy to use with large buttons - backlit if possible
      12. Locking System – makes your valuable, portable projector less attractive for misuse or theft - password login keypads are a common solution;
      13. Personalized Start-up Image – display your company logo for a professional touch
      14. No PC Required Presentations - facility to load your presentation without a PC using a USB interface or similar;
      15. Protective Carry Bag – a bag which offers some protection while leaving room to store the power cord, cables etc.

      New Google Blog Search is Great Marketing News for Business Podcasts, Blogs, and RSS Publishers
      Google just introduced Blog Search in beta yesterday. This new search function allows for you to search the internet for Blogs, Podcasts and RSS feeds. You simply type in your keywords and it will show you results that have come from these sources.The results they display are not showing any preferences to Blogs that are published on Blogger. We are seeing results for all Blogging platforms. Actually Google Blog Search is not just looking at Blogs. They are looking for any RSS feed, which might be from a Blog, Podcast, or any other XML feed. It appears that the search tool is pretty responsive and we are seeing results show up in a matter of hours after a new post is made to the RSS Blog and Podcast Feed. This is another way that you can create online visibility for your business.The organic results are sorted by relevancy, but you have the option to sort them by date as well. This is especially nice if you want to locate the latest post for a fast breaking news topic and want to find it quickly in the blogosphere. The other thing that Google has done is to try to eliminate some of the “noise” and Spam of the blogosphere. They are looking at high quality Blogs and show them at the top of the page under what is called “Related Blogs”. This is prime real estate for your Blog to be listed in.As an example: Go to the new Google Blog search ( http://blogsearch.google.com ) and type in podcasting tips. The results that are shown

      Secured Loans UK - A Safe Bet for the Money Lender
      Secured loans UK are particularly useful in situations where you want a big loan amount. The philosophy behind secured loans is same as in the case of ‘give and take’ concept. In case of secured loan, a borrower gets a big loan amount and the lender gets security for that loan amount. So, the lender feels assured in the presence of a security, and the borrower gets a big loan amount at low rate of interest. Secured loans UK are beneficial for both the borrowers and the lenders.The loan amount that you can get in case of secured loans depend on many factors like the value of your security, your loan-to-value (LTV) ratio, credit rating, repaying capability, etc. The equity in your home affects the amount of loan that you can get from the lender. The loan to value ratio is the amount of loan expressed as a percentage of the total value of the equity. The lower the LTV, the more favourable will be your chances of getting secured loans UK.You can take secured loans UK for many purposes like debt consolidation, home improvement, car purchase, etc. Secured loans UK allow you to repay your existing debts. If you are repaying monthly bills to several credit card companies, then debt consolidation process may result in huge savings as far as the interest payments are concerned. Get the Job You Want
      Every lifetime has its crossroads. Some happen to you and others you can control. Looking for a new job is one of the latter. It may seem that your choices are limited to the Want Ads, answers to your resumes, or tips from friends. But there is a fourth choice, that in which you pick the position and company and go after it. No-one knows better than you your strengths, interests, abilities and goals.Picture for yourself in a certain position that fulfills all your needs and proclivities. You might say that at the moment, no-one out there is advertising for someone for that position, but you can be sure that there are people out there who wish they had a partner or coworker worthy of the position, but hasn't the time or energy to find one. Attrition is your best friend. Employees leave their positions every day for one reason or another. Retirement, family pressures, marriage, relocation, are constantly whittling away the ranks. The person who is qualified and shows up first is often the one that gets the job.So do a little research, choose a company that meets your needs. Contact the proper person and ask for an interview. Every boss loves to be able to choose new workers without going through a lot of effort. Be prepared with knowledge of the company, the requirements of the position you want, and dress the part. First impressions are important because it opens the mind of your prospective employer, allowing him or h
