Career as a Franchise Trainer eople over 50 are deciding to go after their passion and forming it into a business. (I realize that you don't have to be over 50 to do this but that has been the trend). Some have starting writing, some open their own restaurant, cafe, bakery, etc. Some are creative and invent things. 3 1/2 Franchising companies live and die on their abilities to expand into the market place and promote their brand name. A Career as a Franchise Trainer can be a rewarding career and is perfect for someone who likes to work with people and consult them; help them in realizing their American Dream to own their own company.There The Counter Offer: The Perils Of Accepting One In past generations people were taught to go to school, maybe go to college, find a good job and keep it...forever. The benefits and retirement pension was something to be sought after whether or not you even liked the job. Then I guess maybe people got restless and decided they needed to be happy at their job since it took most of their day so the retirement pension became less "lovely". Then the unthinkable happened! Corrupt CEO's spent, lost, stole, whatever the retirement funds of major corporations and suddenly that lifelong dream of having a great retirement dissipated into the air. People really lost their footing about job security. It was terrible for those people who were depending on that to life out their retirement years.Accepting a counter offer is one of the biggest mistakes that you can make during your career.To be clear, a counter offer is when you try to resign from your current employer after accepting another job elsewhere and your current employer tries to keep you by offering you (typically) more money, a better job, more benefit There was one thing that happened and maybe they are connected, maybe they're not, but... There has been a trend over the past few years of people over 50 beginning new careers. Older entrepreneurs have been emering in the marketplace. Maybe being that age brings on a new self confidence to be able to do this but maybe we've all begun to realize that if we don't actively take care of our future, there won't be one. People over 50 are deciding to go after their passion and forming it into a business. (I realize that you don't have to be over 50 to do this but that has been the trend). Shipping is a vital part of the economy not only of certain countries but the whole world as well. During difficult economic times it is often easy to find a scapegoat to blame for a downturn in jobs. While government reports and politicians try to downplay the impact, offshoring is something to take seriously. It has been and is successful and I love the baking, the creative way to market it, and I love meeting new people and visiting with my regular clientele. I also love my business with Advantage Conferences, LLC, which is the business I call my "wealth builder". But no matter what the passion you have, if you desire strong enough (your why) it may be something you could turn into a business, a major enterprise.If we listened twice as much as we talked, we would be a lot further down the road to success. People sometimes think I am very quiet when they first meet me. Those that know me are aware that I am quite the opposite. When I am in a setting where I do not know anyone, I spend my time listening to conversations. I pick up good inf Always use wisdom and do your due diligence and do your research about how to set up a business, how to set up your company for tax purposes, etc. There's a lot to figure out but you can do a lot of it online. One of the things I so like about my business with Advantage Conferences, LLC, is---it was all set up before I got in it. Someone else did all the research, all the hard work, all the prayer, all the sweat and I get to come along and reap the benefits. How awesome is that!!!
