at is what they are taught to do. While the truly financially wealthy (about 5% of society) are leaders, people who had an idea and a vision and got it done. They paid the price. They create businesses and hire people who will not pay the price with the crumbs that fall off the table…who will settle for a paycheck.

The sad part for people who are stuck in mindless jobs is that it robs them of creativity. Did our founding fathers come here for a job? No! There were no jobs, there were only opportunities and possibilities.

Are You Working On Your Business or In Your Business?
"How did it get to this point? Why am I working, working, working with my head down in my business and feeling as though I don't have a moment to think ahead?"You probably started your own business to have freedom of choice, to have freedom to create and to have freedom to have limitless income without the constraints of a salary. You may have left a J.O.B. and now you are feeling as though you are once again at a J.O.B. with your worst boss ever...YOU!Gene
Do you have an idea or vision for the future? Does your idea fire you up and excite you? I am not talking about an ordinary level of excitement, I am talking about burning passion to see your idea turn into reality. Do you believe in your idea? More importantly, do you believe in yourself? I am talking about serious faith in your idea and your ability to turn it into reality. If you don’t, you probably won’t.

Someone once said: “If you can think it, you can achieve it” I would add to that statement: “If you believe it”… and the most important “it” is you. Ideas are a dime a dozen but you are one of a kind and if you don’t believe in your abilities to get the job done, how will you ever achieve the level of success you dream of? Notice that I didn’t say “deserve”… nobody deserves success. While some fortunate people may inherit wealth, the vast majority of people earn the exact level of success they deserve. It’s the old wood stove concept: Put in a little wood, get a little heat. Put in a lot of wood, get a lot of heat. You will reap what you sow and not always the way you think. Most people fail at taking their idea to market. Thomas Edison failed about 10,000 times before he was successful at inventing the light bulb.

Someone once said: “Winners never quit and quitters never win” I would add to that statement “If you never start, you will never know”… most people do not act on their ideas. They have all kinds of excuses: not enough money, not enough time, not enough education, not enough experience, not enough talent, etc. A more truthful statement would be not enough excitement and belief in their idea or themselves or the willingness to do the hard things required of success. Success is not easy success is hard. It demands much and it tests those willing to pursue it… You will pay a price for self-made success.

That’s why most people get a job. They are unwilling to pay the price and settle for working for others, they settle for the illusion of security of a regular paycheck. Most people who work a job are mired in debt, slaves to credit cards and bank loans. What does their hard work and job security really do for them? The truth is that most people (95% of society) follow the followers and get a job because that is what they are taught to do. While the truly financially wealthy (about 5% of society) are leaders, people who had an idea and a vision and got it done. They paid the price. Career Builder: Turn Your Passion Into A Dream Career!
We’ve been taught to think that "career builder" is a process out there that we subscribe to. Like those commercials you see on TV for Career Schools. You select one and then get information on how to apply. Then you sign up for a career.More frequently we just fall into a career. It’s often associated with our first job or one of our earlier employments. If it suits us we stay with it. If not we start to look around. But what if you could build a custom care

Heroes and the Evolution of Comic Books
Heroes came out of nowhere at the beginning of this TV season and has turned into a runaway hit show. This was not entirely unexpected; NBC had a lot of confidence in Heroes from the beginning. However, no one could have legitimately expected Heroes to become the top 15 hit and ratings phenomenon that its become. Why, I suppose, is the question. Why has Heroes become such a great hit? What is the shows appeal?Heroes is a comic book story, through and through. Regardless

    The Power of the Freebie
    J. W. Wrigley, the chewing gum king is reported to have said: "Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted. The problem isI don't know which half."You too could be wasting half the money you spend on advertising if you don’t do these three things:1.Switch from brand name or prestige advertising to direct response. 2.Code all your advertisements. 3.Ask every telephone inquirer where they saw your advertisement. Here’s an example of a direct r

    Resourcefulness In Finding A Job
What do we need when we look for a job? We need to be resourceful. Why did I say this? Let’s say you have the skills or the talent, you are lucky if you can support your skills financially and start a business. But what if you cannot support what you really enjoy doing? Then you need to find a job where you can enjoy the skills that you have. In looking for a job, consider first this question “Where can I find a Job?” This question may be simple but this is really where we want
at is what they are taught to do. While the truly financially wealthy (about 5% of society) are leaders, people who had an idea and a vision and got it done. They paid the price. What is your vision? What is your dream? Take positive action on it, even if it is only little baby steps. If you have an idea or a dream, the best way to start is by writing it down on paper. Put your idea in writing. This way, you convert the idea from the intangible into the tangible and move it one step closer to its reality. Here is a secret to success: If you cannot, or are unwilling to express your idea in an organized written plan of action (a business plan) you will most probably never see it become reality.

You do have a choice… you can do something or you can do nothing, but one thing is certain, you will get the success you earn. Success is a path less traveled.
