Why Entrepreneurs Must Slow Down to Speed Up
I know you are probably thinking that slowing down to speed up is an oxy-moron. But it’s true. You have to slow down to speed up your results. Let me explain. When I started my business, I had a brilliant coach named Michael Stratford who had a saying…Slower + Smoother = FasterAt that time, I was running like a bull in a china shop. I was determined to make my life and my business a success. But
Appreciate what you have by looking at the positive side. Do this and I have no doubt that you'll be a happier person for the rest of your life.

Like the things you have right now. NO MATTER how terrible they could be, I strongly believe that they are not as bad as you think they are. Even if you insist that they are bad, I'm sure that you have many more things that you should be gratitude with.

Am I asking you to be a positive thinker... even though let's say,

Advertisements Without a Headline - What a Waste
It still never ceases to amaze me why B2B advertisers who pay good money for print ad do not have headlines in their ads.Four out of five readers will see the headline and not the rest of the ad (body copy). It's the one in five who is caught by the headline will read on and proceed to the body copy.Without a headline, not only have you, as the advertiser, lost some 80% or your readership, but ch
It's been a long working day today for me, especially after Valentine's Day. And there are just too much work for me to finish today at my office.

At 8.00 PM, I left the office.

When I got back to my apartment, I can't enter the lift. The lift was 'booked' because there was a smart guy moving into one of the apartment's units. Yeah, at night.

The other lift was 'holding' on level 12.

What the heck. I'm tired and I can't wait. I'll just take the stairs with a grumpy face.

After reaching the first level of walking up the stairs, suddenly I felt really good! I dunno, it just hit me out of nowhere the feeling of gratitude.

Maybe I was destined to walk the stairs today because it makes me felt how wonderful it is to have both legs that are working perfectly. The joy of walking.

I know you might think... "Isn't that you always have, Bernard Tan?"

    Yes.

That's what I always have . My two legs. But how often did I thank 'them' for being there for me... giving me the privilege to walk, run, squat, kick and all of the wonderful; things that you and me are doing with our legs?

Do you know that there are people out there that cannot walk... who would be so grateful to walk up the stairs for the rest of their life without using a lift? They know how to appreciate what they DON'T HAVE. I've seen and met them.

Try talking to someone who lost their legs. I know it's not a positive example but I'm trying to make a point here. I wouldn't be surprise if they'll give up all of their savings to have both legs again.

I don't know about you, but I think we're blessed in a way or the other.

I'm not talking about legs. Don't get mislead about this article. It's definitely not about legs, my friend. It could be a nose, heart, ears, eyes, brain, house, friends, wife, husband, money, kitchen, tie, shoes. it doesn't matter. Appreciate what you have by looking at the positive side. Time Management: The Overlooked Outline
In this era when you are bombarded with deadlines and multitasking is listed as a job requirement, it becomes even more important to find easy-to-use tools to keep you as efficient and effective as possible. You were probably first taught about outlining in early school years when they told you how to create a story by listing three events within the body of the work and then developing those. And, if you're the kind of business traveller who spends a lot of time on the road, you might also carry around photos of your family, or other small items from home to make yourself feel more comfortable in your hotel room - after all, it's the small things that can make someone feel at home! But m

That would be foolish because that's not being sincere to your own self. I'm teaching you a practical method. Focusing on what you have that you should be gratitude of. They are almost the same but they are not. They are separated by just a thin line so it takes some experience to distinguish them. Positive thinking and focusing on positive energy.

I didn't know walking the stairs can make me felt so much alert about the appreciation of life. Maybe, you should try next time. Doesn't have to be stairs. It could be walking to your office instead of driving there (of course, if it's beyond walking distance!).

Who knows, you might realize more things that you have in your wonderful life. If you do, please let me know by posting a Comment below. Or if you like what you read, post it as well.
