When I ask myself why I chose that “short cut” along the way, I can see that it was either the fear of success, fear of failure, or ultimately the fear of falling short of the goals I had set that would have caused me to lose my nerve when I should have been taking precious time to formalize my goals, desires, processes, and putting them into a plan.

I now have formal, written business plans for the business ventures that I am involved in. These are my road maps for the future and my foundations for the present. In the process of writing these business plans, I realize that they are NOT written in stone. If I am mindful of the time, place and circumstances of when they were developed and implemented and am able to navigate through the detours that can occur with the best of planning in any business venture, then I will be able to modify and adjust my business plans accordingly so my journey on the road to success will be smooth sailing!
