The Best Yellow Page Ad in the World
Whew, that’s a big declaration. But just how and where did I find such an ad? There’s a great story behind it, but first a few words about my personal qualifications. I was a YP rep and consultant for nearly 25 years and, prior to that, had my own advertising agency. I also have a degree in marketing. I’ve been designing Yellow Page ads for the past three decades. So I have expertise in YP creation a

If you are anything like me, you need a quiet, peaceful place to work. Ghostwriters who work from home often struggle over the perfect office setting, especially when distractions can mean an unproductive day’s work.

Setting Up Your Office: The Room My office is in a spare bedroom, on the opposite side of the house from our living room and kitchen. I keep the door closed during the day while I work, but sometimes I open a window for some air.

Many ghostwriters make the mistake of having their office in the living room or bedroom. If you have access to a separate room in the house – even the garage will do! – then use it. Distractions like food, television and people talking will keep you from getting your work done.

However, make sure that you are comfortable in the room you choose. Air flow, wall color and aesthetic appeal are all factors. If you are unhappy in your office, you won’t want to go there, and work won’t get done anyway!

Setting Up Your Office: The Desk My desk is situated away from the wall, facing the door. You’ll want your desk to be in a position so you don’t have to crane your neck every time someone comes in to tell you something. New year's resolutions, same as always, property markets down yet still up, share markets up yet still down, the Aussie dollar falls but is still high, gold prices high even though fallen. Strategies for Real Estate Marketing
Are you working long hours and feeling so tired that you could just lay down in the floor of that long empty condo on Baker St. that you have been trying to sell for six months? Have your clients been running you all over town and nit-picking every single house you show them? Has it been 3 weeks since you made a sale? You are likely working with the wrong kind of clients. Secured Loans Fulfil Your Needs Reasonably
Secured loans, as the name goes, means you have to place a collateral to get a loan. The collateral or the security is your property, usually your home, if you are a home-owner.When you go for secured loans, you have to place your property as collateral. This implies that if you are unable to repay the loan amount, your house can be repossessed. In other words, if the borrower fails to

The ideal desk is one that has enough space on the top for a computer, a keyboard and a pad of paper. Ghostwriting usually involves jotting down notes as well as typing, so if only your monitor fits on the desk, you’ll be scraping for a place to write longhand. Further, I’d recommend a desk that has room for a potted plant or knick-knacks. You’ll want to take a break from staring at the computer screen, so have something pretty at which you can gaze.

Setting Up Your Office: Files If your ghostwriting business is anything like mine, you’ll be reaching for files every ten minutes. Your filing cabinet – or box – should be accessible from your desk so you don’t have to get up and go shuffling through files every time you need one.

Further, you should have a neat and organized filing system so you can find what you need at a moment’s notice. Trust me, you don’t want to be sifting through paperwork while on the phone with an important client.
