You can be sure that he had some schedule mapped out in his head, like committing to throw 100 shoots each day, taking up jogging, a special kind of diet or whatever it may be and it is mental planning. Anyone can play basketball and play quite good by practice. But if you think about making long term success with it, a mental plan is crucial.

Passion/Positive Mindset
Most people on the internet look for those get rich quick sales pages and a get quick moment "high" of hope when they see the guru's personal results, paycheck screenshots, testimonial and them "crazy promises" as a way feeling good with hope and proceed to daydream for the next minute or two about their potential successes in the future... THIS IS WAY INTERNET MARKETING IS SO SUCCESSFUL because other than the fact that its more convenient with selling the endless supply of digital products and less risky than real life businesses, the sales come from the high the costumer feels when they see the page and makes impulse buys with hopes or solutions in mind. That is positive mindset they created for themselves in the moment but one problem, it won't last, simply because they later realize that it involves actual work and see it has a chore and the next thing you know the ebook collects edust. If you are going to pursue something Passion is really important, with passion comes a positive mindset that gives you confidence to pursue and not stop at nothing to achieve your goal.

Action/Not being lazy
Now on to action, recently I saw that movie "The secret" which talks about the laws of attraction. Interesting topic but there is one element I noticed was missing. ACTION! They talk about having positive outlook in life all good things will become attracted to them if you keep up with the upbeat thinking. But the problem with the movie is they make it seem like you want to window shop at any store and if you concentrate long in enough in imagining yourself with possession with it KAZAAM it somehow falls from the sky just like that. Now I know that is not their intention but the need of action is essential. I mean it's not like I create positive vibes in having an article in ezinearticles.com and POOF there is it listed, no I have to type these words which is action. In the passion/positive mindset I have mention when people find in their IM ebook or their business class that it would take real work and time, it automatically discourages them and they pursue something else. Luck for me I have found great passion when I type articles like these which isn't to me "work" which then prompts me to action and not being lazy towards it since I actually look forward to my next piece on any niche with my thoughts, philosophy, opinions and advice.
