It creates a compounding effect on your success. Some prospect that came into your funnel months ago after constant contact will begin to gain the level of trust in you that will allow them to take actions to grow closer to you. This act simply creates a massive amount of trust, so do it.

Try something new everyday: I was going to say learn something new everyday, but when I thought about what that meant I realized it wasn't enough to just learn something new, you have to take the action with will turn what you learn into something that creates measurable results. So learn something new each and every day, try it, track it and then teach it, and watch what happens.
