Many people have heard of bad credit, but some may not know what it means. For a long time, there was no established method for determining the credit activities of consumers. However, this all changed when a company called the Fair Isaac Corporation designed a credit scoring system that is called the FICO score. Because the three major credit agencies have different information on each consumer, the FICO score calculated by these agencies won't be exact. I will be approaching from different aspects, i.e. avoiding scams, generating ideas, existing (and legitimate) online and offline business opportunities and anything else I can think of or that you have questions about. With your answers in mind, consider the following: * Do you think you'd be happy running a strictly online business? * Do you think you'd rather work at something that provides actual people-to-people contact? * Would you enjoy retail work, on and/or offline, if you found a product(s) that you really believed in? * Or would you prefer offering a service? Homework :) : Make a list of 10 items that you enjoy, interest you, and/or you are good at. This list can be anything from crafts to organizing to cleaning to reading to cake decorating to writing....anything! After you've made your list, ask several people who know you well, your spouse, mom, friend, what things they would put on your list. If they mention anything, add it on. Now, put your list away for a day or two. After a few days, look it over again and circle the three top items on your list. That's enough for now. Next time, we'll look at list of potential business ideas to keep those creative juices flowing!
