Repair or replacement. Most brick and mortar stores will try and repair the product, or have it repaired. A few will just replace it, or refund your money, on the spot. The hassle that one must go through with many catalog and online companies make repair or replacement very unattractive. Customer service in a timely frame, and with the needed quality results, should be a cornerstone of good business. Second to having the product you want is full service customer service.
