Networking Your Way Out Of Your Business Comfort Zone
What motivates somebody to set up a small business? You are often on your own, lacking a lot of start up money in hand, without the full set of skills to build your business and most often without sufficient experience of the competitive market you are getting ready to jump into.Regardless of all these barriers to launching a small business we still in confident, if not foolhardy, fashion. It is the basic desire of what we want that drives our inner-dir

    Your Career and Your Health
The successful career is more important for health and longevity than diet and absence of bad habits. Along with proper diet, high quality medical services, and absence of bad habits, it appears that success in life is playing the major role too.In the sixties, professor sir Michael Marmot analyzed the information about health conditions of the government workers that are living in London. He discovered an interesting fact: the higher position the person has been

Like huge anchors on cruise ships, other people can hold you down. Not intentionally, but their negativity impacts you. It’s hard to be winning at working when you’re anchored in place. It’s hard to see the next great idea and enthusiastically embrace it, when you’re feeling a sticky heaviness. And it’s hard to think creativity when you’re feeling empty.

Like a balloon with air pouring out, deflated and flat at the end, I hung up the phone, drained. For the most part I’d offered a supportive ear with occasional contributions of asked for advice. To Niche or Not to Niche
Are you like many enterpreneurs who are afraid to choose a niche for your offerings? I know there can be the fear that you're limiting your business if you narrow your niche down too much, but that simply isn't true. Believe me, it's so much easier and profitable to market to a smaller portion of the market (just think how many people there are in the world!) than to try to be all things to all people. And you'll be amazed to find out that you actually open yourself up to

Don't Stop! Your Transition is Still Moving!

When you’re in serious transition, a week can be a long time. Time sneaks away and you need to see where it’s going. And you need to keep moving to maintain momentum and stay motivated.1. The 5 Things You Must Know About Accepting A Check By Phone
Accepting a check by phone, fax or web is a great way to increase revenues, decrease collection headaches and offer new payment options BUT there are several essential “things” that you MUST know.First let’s talk about all the great benefits: 1) You don’t have to wait for a customer to mail in payment. 2) It’s a LOT less expensive than a credit card. A credit card transaction always involves a discount rate. Typically around 2.3% it means that you pa

    Industrial Metal Detectors
Industrial metal detectors offer maximum protection against ferrous, non-ferrous metal, and stainless steel metal contamination. Industrial metal detectors are used in a variety of applications. The typical areas covered are food, dairy, pharmaceutical, paper, rubber, medical, cosmetics, plastic, textile and chemical industries. Industrial metal detectors are highly successful in preventing downstream equipment from damage. These are also very useful for detecting weapons

It took me awhile to figure it out, but Jay was an energy drainer. I’ve learned over the years, if I spend too much time around people with negative energy to share, my optimism, and enthusiasm for work (or life) are adversely affected.

You may know people in your own work life who hold you down, zap your enthusiasm, cheer you into self-destruction, and occupy so much of your time and energy that you can’t offer the best you to anyone, including yourself. And you know people who do the opposite.

My solution? Use that feedback. Spend less work time with the drainers, and more time with people who offer you an energy boost. Once you’ve identified how it feels to be around energy boosters, look to fill gaps, especially on work teams, with people who bring positive energy to a meeting, who are fun to be around, whose enthusiasm and positive approach lifts your spi
