Cross Collateralization .
You might think my humble opinion is rather unnecessary and I should go back to write about real estate. At any rate, if you are still with me, I feel there is more I need to say on this subject. This is not just about local politics, this is about new developments, this is about turning this city into a vibrant, beautiful, alive community that everyone truly enjoys. And that is my field, too, so my opinion here becomes quite important.Collateral, also called security, consists of assets offered by a borrower in order to obtain a loan. In the event of failure to repay the debt, the collateral is confiscated in lieu of the outstanding amount. Any item of economic value, especially which could be liquidated or converted to cash can be pledged as collateral. When collateral for one loan serves as collateral for other loans as well, it is called cross collaterization. The most common example being the case when a person wants to buy a new residence when he already owns one house. The property being cross-collateralized needs to be appraised and indemnified. How one property can serve as collateral to different loans? The reason Mayor Hibbard has been a driving force behind a lot of good chang Q&A With Stephen Oachs, Technical Director of VisiStat - Web Analytics Trends Discussed Believe me: Clearwater is the lifestyle you've always dreamed of. It's a small town of friendliness, affordable housing, good schools and growing business opportunities. It's a true—officially voted—beach lover’s paradise, it's the new 9-million dollar Cleveland streetscape, the new multi-million dollar beach walk, the new downtown marina with gorgeous water taxi that will take us back and forth from the white sand beaches and all the new shopping and restaurants of downtown. What more can we ask for? Apparently our Mayor Frank Hibbard dared to ask for much more than that and to many that was very politically incorrect. With all the recent interest in Web analytics, it seems as though new companies are emerging every day. One of the most exciting new providers is VisiStat, a San Jose, California-based startup that is redefining how people use Web reporting.I sat down with Stephen Oachs, founder of VisiStat (www.visistat.com), to talk about the future of Web analytics, as well as the newly released VisiStat 4.0.Q. Stephen, what Web analytics market trends have you seen so far this year?A. Well, after a bit of a rocky start, the Google acquisition of Urchin and the subsequent release of Google Analytics have created a seismic event in the market. Some of the legacy Web analytics companies tha It will probably take a miracle to grant our mayor's wishes, but given that it is over a decade since there has been a good miracle in Clearwater, (ever since the Blessed Virgin Mary briefly chose to appear on the dark-tinted window panes of an office building on the side of US19 highway back in 1996. This made Clearwater world famous almost overnight) I think it’s time for another, and I hope I could help. I would be happy if he gets what he asked for. I like him. I only had a few chances to meet him personally, but every time I left thinking, "He is good for Clearwater". It could be that he is young, the youngest to get that office at 34. Mayor Hibbard has been a driving force behind a lot of good change Should A Small Business Bother With Market Research? y our Mayor Frank Hibbard dared to ask for much more than that and to many that was very politically incorrect. How much is "market research" worth? Well, that's just another ROI question - or, it should be. If it's cheap and easy to get the research, great - you’ll take all you can get. If you have to pay for it, though, or spend too much of your time getting it, it's easy to say "I don’t really need that."But, let's not make a bigger deal out of this than it needs to be. Sure, you can buy market research, or pay someone a lot of money to collect it specifically for your business; or, you can use a little imagination and do a few simple things - often with the information that you already have - that will get you a lot closer to where you need to be than where you are now! Research can be surveys and polls It will probably take a miracle to grant our mayor's wishes, but given that it is over a decade since there has been a good miracle in Clearwater, (ever since the Blessed Virgin Mary briefly chose to appear on the dark-tinted window panes of an office building on the side of US19 highway back in 1996. But it’s still possible, and even more essential! Here are many ways you can get more testimonials than you can shake a stick at:1) Ask, ask, ask!If you don’t ask for testimonials, they probably won’t come! This is not just about local politics, this is about new developments, this is about turning this city into a vibrant, beautiful, alive community that everyone truly enjoys. And that is my field, too, so my opinion here becomes quite important.I have been doing business for 18 years, and let me tell you first hand, there is no business like Work at Home business. The key being "Work at Home". From the corporate world to the small time brick and mortar world of business, there really is nothing that can compare to the freedom and enjoyment of work from home business ventures. There are so many ways to go about setting up and running your own home business utilizing the internet today, its really an amazement to me that everyone isn't working from home as their own boss. If you're sick of your jobs or simply want a change in your life, I strong urge you to look into legitimate home business opportunities. If you can type and have an Mayor Hibbard has been a driving force behind a lot of good changes for Clearwater. Not only did he help get the new Causeway bridge finished against all odds, he was one of the first promoters of property tax cuts to show citizens that redevelopment has rewards, and he supported the key project of the downtown marina. On top of it one of his biggest accomplishments over the past two years has been his ability to build consensus on the council. Hibbard himself admitted that it has been a challenge to help meet the needs of a diverse population in the city and all the different views on what the city wants to become. Leadership, political savvy, administrative skill, the ability to attract business, jobs and tourists. Those are just a few of the qualities a successful mayor needs and Hibbard showed us he has them all. So what did he asked for that sparkled so much criticism? He came up with the idea of switching to a strong-mayor form of government. Concentrate power in one high office, rather than diluting it between a city manager and council. A form of government that could bring in new business, improve city services and rejuvenate civic pride. He would also gain broad authority over day-to-day management of the city budget. The city will be equipped to succeed in fast-changing times. Scared yet? Don't be. Yes, Mayor Hibbard has broached the subject of change in Clearwater government. But that is just common sense for a better Clearwater. Something that many other cities have already done. All he has really done is show the courage to ask for the authority to carry out the responsibilities of his job, that shows even more to the citizens that he is a true leader; and sometimes, as a fellow citizen suggested in a letter, "Leaders need to lead in the deep water as opposed to the political safety of the kiddie pool. We should consider reacting in gratitude for and contemplation of the suggestion, rather than being fearful and suspicious of an individual servant of Clearwater." Well said. It makes absolute sense to try the strong-mayor approach. If the elected mayor doe
