1.Title of websiteWhen you have decided upon which keywords which to optimize your website for ( Read my 10 steps to choosing the perfect keywords www.webmaster-files.com) then you can start to optimize your webpages for those keywords. First thing to do is to include the keyword for the page within the title of the page. Eg Hanging Flower Basket | Garden Design. This would be the title for one of the pages of a garden website. Please notice the use of “|” rather than the word “and”. The more words within your title tag the less weight they will have in search engines so cutting the word “and” out will increase the weight of the other words. Also notice the above example would be for three main keywords, Hanging Basket, Flower Basket, Garden Design. As you can see I have combined hanging basket and flower basket into one phrase cutting out one of the “basket”. This will also save words. Another thing to remember when optimizing a website is to choose different titles for each subpage of your websites, including in each relevant keywords.2.ALT Image AdsApply the alt image tags for each graphic on your page. Including within these alt image tags your keyword. Eg. Hanging basket image. Add the “image” or “graphic” within the alt tag to decrease the look of it being spam. People sign up for my grant writing workshops to learn to write grant proposals. I often find they have great ideas, big hearts, and lots of activities that they believe will make a difference. Lets start by taking a look at a mortgage company that calls you out of the blue. Most of the time we don’t give these people the time of day, basically because they interrupt our dinner or the game or whatever. Usually a company who has the money for a telemarketing room has a lot of extra overhead than most others. A local company cares more about your situation, not just how many loans they can squeeze on the board.

Borne online is something none of us conceptually think about. However, our children of the 1990's were clearly brought into this world with this leverage. Look around at our military and our general aviation industry.
