Prepared For Take-Off? ant believes if conditions do not improve, the counImagine you are a commercial airline pilot responsible for the safe delivery of a plane full of passengers to their scheduled destination. The successful outcome of your flight depends on precise completion of a series of proven, sequential processes. What happens when a sequence is violated? What if you changed the process and retracted the landing gear while the plane was still on the ground? You would need a very good reason to jeopardize the outcome of the flight while dropping a $45 million aircraft and 200 paying passengers onto the pavement. Why do I offer this seemly silly example? It's because I routinely see businesses shortcut or abandon their critical processes in similar fashion. And then they wonder: What happened? For your preflight checklist for any major achievement, there are eight criterion for effective goal setting. They are organized below with the SMART WAY acronym:SpecificMeasurableAttainableRealisticly HighTarget DateWrittenAlignedYoursSimilar to preparing for airliner take-off, shortcutting any single element of the goal setting process will also jeopardize your outcome. An often overlooked element is "Attainable. Have you ever worked in an organization where the goals were viewed as unattainable? What happened to your commitment? What You Really Can Make A Fortune Off Of EBooks and Software Resale Rights The year gone by was the warmest in England since 1659. Australia may be doomed to suffer the country’s worst drought since the Federation Drought of 1894 – 1902, and at least one Dun & Bradstreet consultant believes if conditions do not improve, the counWhen I first considered online selling, I had trouble thinking of a product to sell. I did not have a storefront or any particular talents to offer.I started testing the waters by selling odds and ends on Ebay. I would visit consignment shops, stores which sold overstock or discontinued items and purchase the products for a fraction of the retail cost.I sold several different items to see which ones sold best. I finally settled on porcelain dolls. I found a company where I could purchase the dolls in bulk quantity at wholesale prices and sold them on Ebay. It was great for a while, especially during seasonal holidays. I even became a Power Seller. But I had two big problems. I did not have a functional place to store the products and the slower selling products tended to just collect dust on the shelf. Therefore my basement became cluttered with dolls, taking up valuable space.THEN, I learned about reselling authorized reprint rights, particularly, ebooks, and downloadable software. It is the perfect solution for making a fortune online with little investment. For example, I purchased a reseller bundle package for $29.95 which included over 85 ebooks and software resell rights. With very little effort, I resell the same product over and over without having to re-purchase additional licensing rights. I only needed one sale to break even. The possibility really is this easy to make continuous profits over and over again. Because the products are down Franchise Opportunity - 5 Considerations 659. Australia may be doomed to suffer the country’s worst drought since the Federation Drought of 1894 – 1902, and at least one Dun & Bradstreet consultant believes if conditions do not improve, the counIn addition to the many questions that you should pose to a potential Franchisor, and the many questions they should pose to you, there are several other considerations for you to determine your compatibility with a particular Franchise system. If you are going to be getting into business with someone with the goal of creating an outstanding future together, you should cover more bases than just the basic questions to understand how the business makes money. That will be ultimately important of course, but several general considerations will be imperative for you to analyze as well, if you really want to understand your potential ‘strategic-partner’.Franchisor’s Qualification SystemOne of the initial things you should strive to understand is the level of development that the Franchisor’s Candidate qualification system has reached. Your first reaction to that might be ‘Why do I care about a Franchise Qualification system – I only care if I get a Franchise or not?’ I would suggest that you should care a great deal. After all, if the Franchise Candidate qualification system hasn’t been well developed, it may be a reflection on the business of the Franchise itself. The most important asset of any Franchise system will be its people, including both Franchisees, and Franchisor staff. Almost all companies will confirm that to be the case. They say it even if they don’t believe it. They say it even if they don’t actually put systems in place to ensure they add the Debt Settlement - Can It Really Eliminate Your Debt? s worst drought since the Federation Drought of 1894 – 1902, and at least one Dun & Bradstreet consultant believes if conditions do not improve, the counWell, the short answer is, yes – debt settlement can most certainly eliminate your debt. As a matter of fact, the process of debt settlement has assisted many people in their attempt to avoid bankruptcy and successfully become free from debt. Before we get ahead of ourselves, however, let’s take a closer look at debt settlement (debt negotiation) so that you may have a clear understanding of the entire process.Debt settlement is a practice whereby most creditors will accept less than the full balance owed them, as settlement in full – usually less than 50% of the outstanding debt. Prior to a creditor accepting – or even reviewing – a settlement agreement, however, your accounts must be in a delinquent status. Many individuals don’t even look at their options until their accounts are already delinquent, but there are also some people who find that they’re at the end of their rope and simply can no longer juggle their bills, and ultimately rob Peter to pay Paul. Let’s face it; that gets old real fast. So, if you’re considering debt settlement, it’s important to understand that your credit score may be affected by the process. While I don’t necessarily agree, some people would rather struggle month after month, in order to retain a decent credit score. Others, on the other hand, don’t have a choice and must choose a path to become free from debt. If you’re facing this situation, and wondering how long your credit will be affected, the answer really depends on your a 100% Successful Management - The Ten Winning Behaviours 4 – 1902, and at least one Dun & Bradstreet consultant believes if conditions do not improve, the counManagement is all about being the one who facilitates business or organisational success. Delivering the required results. It can be daunting, yet with these ten simple ideas, it might not be the impossible challenge…Business is complicated. Organisations are horribly complicated. Yet within that there are people who manage, who have ‘cracked the code’ for success. Success for themselves, their people and overall, the organisations they run.So if there are just 10 actions a great manager takes to deliver the excellence way above the rest, what might they be?Here are some ideas. The use and implementation of them is up to you…1.Talk to your peopleTop of the list is always how you relate to your people. Regular, easy-going interactions (we call them conversations and chats), make for relationships that work. Talk to and above all listen to them. And respond to what you hear. You will find great information which will help you develop them for the future.2.Have Clear ExpectationsEvery one of your people is desperate to please and be seen to be doing a great job. To do this you need to ensure that they are all very clear indeed about what you want them to do. Some need more help with this than others.3.Build TrustTrust falls in many ways. Doing what you said you would; treating everyone fairly; being consistent; keeping criticism private; creating confident Something to Chew On ant believes if conditions do not improve, the country’s Reserve bank may be forced to lower interest rates. Before Christmas I found a display of older candy brands, and some of them made it into my cart. Among other things I picked up Beeman’s Chewing Gum to put in the stockings of several family members. While visiting my Dad before Christmas, he told me a story about finding something at the store and buying all they had. As he told me the story he tossed me a package of Beeman’s. I burst into laughter and told him he would enjoy at least one of the things in his stocking later…This all happened several weeks ago, and as I write this I am chewing Beeman’s Chewing Gum. If you are unfamiliar with Beeman’s it was invented in 1898 to ease heartburn, since it initially contained pepsin. Beeman’s was then a popular chewing gum brand for many decades.I bought the gum out of nostalgia – the package alone brought a smile to my face and hoped it would for others too. Thankfully, I was right. What I didn’t know at the time of my purchase was that this gum would help me learn something about business, change, and myself.I’m really not much of a gum chewer. Occasionally I’ll have a piece of gum if offered, or if I think it would help my breath. What I have noticed is that all the newer gums come in smaller portions but have amazingly long lasting flavor. I always find myself feeling like I’m chewing almost nothing, and having a sore jaw long before the flavor is gone. Not so with Beeman’s. You don’t chew a piece of Beeman’s, you chew a stick. And w
